Something fishy.

so i think this girl that i work with is trying to get me fired. why? i don't know yet. but here's the lowdown:

one month ago:
her first venture was to take complete control of cashing out the registers. i would grab the money bag and go to do it. she'd bitch about how it was too early. two minutes later she would dash to the registers and cash them out. a possible thief? i believe so. there must be a circle in hell devoted to stealing from your small business employer. if not, i'm going to start praying to dear God for one.

3 weeks ago:
I left the heat on one night. Instead of declaring co-worker solidarity, she ratted me out to the boss.

2 weeks ago:
The boss wrote a letter to all the employees saying that the registers have been a little off lately. The cashing out business became increasingly more tense. I told her she was counting too quickly. She said, "Are you feeling a little crabby?" Then she proceeded to blame me for putting a ten dollar bill in the five drawer. Rat. Rat. Rat.

Today:
Ever since the boss' note, she has been bogarting the registers every night. In my own defense, I've been making it clear, in writing to the boss, that she has been cashing out every night. That's fine. I'm in the clear. But today, as I was closing up, I asked her to turn the heat off for me. She went over to the dials, toggled around for a little bit, then left the store. On my way out, I checked. She didn't turn the heat off.

Is she stealing? Is she trying to get me fired?
